Ghosts of Milanos - Investigation 24th May 2019 - Melbourne

Milanos has a strong, solid presence on the shorefront of Brighton.  Formerly the Royal Terminus Hotel in the 1840s, it was not surprising that it had a history of suicide, abuse and even murder in these quarters.  Staff had reported a resident ghost there called Tilly, who may have been the young girl raped and murdered.

Therefore, it was the perfect place to have our ghost investigation as a prelude to the Ghostbusters of Australia conference.

With us, we had Ghostbusters Karen Scott, Johan Smit, Brett Farrell and Robb Tilley and Parapsychologist/Neuroscientist and Paranormal Investigator, Dr Vladimir Dubaj, and a group of 10 attendees.

Robb (from Sydney) sensed a crowd of men with top hats, suits, smoking cigars, drinking, chatting and having a good ‘ole time, “like a Men’s club.”  “It was a happy vibe,” he said.

Brett and 2 of the guests sensed a very angry man with a hat, who didn’t want us to be there, a short and nasty man.

Many picked up an unwelcoming and negative energy in one of the small back rooms.  One of the guests felt something push his forehead back, as if it didn’t want him in the room.  Whatever was in there particularly didn’t seem to like men!   I felt it difficult to breath in that room, like a heaviness in my chest, and others shared this feeling.  A couple of the psychic guests picked up a ‘female’ in there, like a female child or young girl and she wasn’t happy, and was very miserable and angry.  Could we have met Tilly?

Karen was talking to one of the attendees. She sensed that there was a young male ghost around his age who gravitated towards him, because they shared similar interests and their personality was also similar.  We later found out that there was a Wake there just before we arrived.  The person who died was a young male around his age!  The guest said he did feel something.

A couple of the attendees were mediums themselves and had sent a couple of willing ghosts to the Light that night.  Their sensing was congruent with each other!

There is an attic on the 3rd floor but it was blocked off due to disrepair.  Even at the foot of its staircase, I felt something very negative and creepy up there.

Overall, it was a fun and intriguing night!  The attendees appeared to have enjoyed themselves.  Tune in for next year’s ghost investigation!
