I decided to organise a day ghost investigation at a tavern in a very small country town, between Donnybrook and Balingup on the South-Western Highway, 228 kilometres south of Perth in Western Australia.  Kirup Tavern was originally built in 1906 and is famous for its bottles of ‘Kirup Syrup,’ an alcoholic beverage with secret ingredients.

We started in the old and original dining room.  The room felt unusually cold compared to the rest of the pub.  There was a feeling of high anxiety.  We communicated with what could have been a male Tree-Logger who died with a blow to his head.  There may have been funerals held in this room.

We also sensed a young indigenous woman, who could be of mixed Caucasian and Aboriginal race.  It appeared that she may have been taken from her parents and expected to breed more ‘whiteness’ into the Aboriginal race.  It seemed that she was pulled here and there, not given much of a voice.  She may have given birth to a stillborn, fell into a deep depression and committed suicide by hanging.  She was moved onto the “Light.”

Near the Ladies’ toilets, the energy felt very negative.  It also felt like there was some sort of portal there or an entrance to something underground.

In the main dining room with the pool table, several of the mediums present independently (separately without knowing what the others had sensed) said that there was a fight in there, where death occurred.  I will reserve some details for this one, for future observational comparisons.

In the shed out the back, the feeling again, was very negative.  It was like something prohibited went on there, many years ago.  There was a sense of aggressiveness.  Animals may have been butchered and hung on hooks.  There were some other nefarious things that might have gone on in there, but for now, I will reserve the details for future investigators, to confirm and compare observations.

The owners confirmed that they had seen things out of the corner of their eye, hear things at night and doors open and close by themselves.

Overall, it was a fun and interactive day!  The ghost meter pro was very active, and the EMF machine was also very active after we visited the shed.  We had some talented mediums with us, and others were able to sense the spirits present.

The day ended with much joy and laughter, as we partook in the delicious and generous servings at the tavern.
