Doors opening by themselves, apparitions of former residents appearing, a jug of beer sliding and thrown to the ground, a poster fixed to the wall flying out the door, manifestations of broken glass, a voice whispering your name…these are just a few of the strange occurrences reported by staff, guests, and ghost-hunters. A little girl carrying a life-size raggedy doll, an angry old man with a handle-bar moustache, a lady in Victorian dress and Paddy Connolly himself, the owner of the hotel until the day he died, are just some of the resident ghosts in this heritage-listed place.
Spend 2hrs with a Johan Smit and Karen Scott, seasoned Mediums and Perth’s Ghostbusters (Featured on Today Tonight), and Parapsychologist, Joyce Bok, and see if you can discover the stories and secrets in the days of old, though still so palpable in the present!

We have a rare opportunity to do a ghost investigation at a small-town heritage-listed tavern with 2 celebritys’ ghostbusters, Johan Smit and Karen Scott! Kirup Tavern was built in 1905 in a small town 228kms south of Perth, servicing the logging and fruit growing community. The first owners, Alberto Vinci, invented the Kirup Syrup, an alcoholic beverage from a secret family recipe. Is he still there, insisting people sample his beverage straight from the barrel? What other patron stories can we gather in this place from the last 116 years? The current staff have confirmed hearing and seeing nonphysical presences active in the building!

On the eve of Halloween, spend 3hrs with 3 real-life ghostbusters to investigate the non-physical residents of a theatre! Combining the use of modern electronic equipment and traditional methods, you can experience and witness how an investigation is done! But remember, be respectful to the ghosts and they will be respectful to you!

If you answered B, you may be right! Why? There are at least 2 reasons. One, it’s boring at the cemetery! There’s just nothing happening there except for the occasional burial! Unless the ghost wants to be there when his/her relatives/friends visit or has a special liking to the cemetery caretaker, it’s like watching flowers wilt! Now, the second reason is...there are not many people to draw their energy from!
Yes, that’s right, as creepy as it sounds; ghosts get their energy from people, from their thoughts and emotions! It’s not such an unusual concept when you think about it. We all have symbiotic relationships with all things in our environment!
